Position Overview:

As the Director of Strategic Wine Sales, you will be responsible for leading and executing a comprehensive sales strategy focused on mid- to high-priced wines from our family-owned winery. Your primary object is generating $1 million per year in net profits, anchored by long-term distribution partnerships and direct-to-consumer growth.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Wholesale Market Penetration: Sell a minimum of 20,000 cases annually to qualified distributors known for championing small family wineries, excluding mass distributors.
•  Distributor Relationships: Leverage exclusive, high-level distributor contacts with a proven history of supporting boutique producers and promoting premium wines.
•  Website & DTC Sales: Supercharge online sales through strategy, promotions, digital tools, and targeted campaigns to grow weekly conversions.
•  Tasting Room Development: Drive foot traffic to the Tasting Room, implement high-conversion sales training, and increase wine club memberships and in-person sales.
•  Wine Event Sales: Organize and lead high-end wine dinners, tastings, and private events that directly drive sales and memberships.
•  Wine Club Growth: Increase and retain wine club members through personalized engagement, premium experiences, and value-added offerings.

Compensation:

•  Base Salary plus commission
•  Sales Commission: 10% commission on all verified wholesale and direct-to-consumer wine sales personally generated by you.
•  Performance Bonus: Eligibility for discretionary performance bonuses tied to achieving key financial milestones and long-term contracts.

Terms of Employment:

•  This position is full-time and at-will.
•  You will report directly to the Owner/Managing Partner of Vezér Family Vineyards.
•  You may be required to travel for distributor meetings, wine dinners, and tasting events.
•  You will be expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
