Facility Operations Technician

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interior and exterior facility maintenance (preventative/planned and emergency requirements)
• Execute all facility shipping/receiving activities
• Assist in managing customer visit preparations and readiness
• Execute contracts for facility vendors as assigned
• Purchase building supplies
• Perform equipment set-up, build/integration activities

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Five years' experience in a facility/operations environment
• Two-year AA college degree, preferably in a technical field
• Shipping/Receiving experience a plus
• Strong technical skills (electrical and mechanical)
• Five years working as a technician
• Experience operating a forklift
• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• SAP experience is preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Work in non-climate-controlled warehouse environment with landscaping duties outside the facility
• Up to 3-4 hrs. per day of computer use
• Standing/walking for prolonged periods of time
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Overtime as needed
